First Week on the Job!

Last week was a whirlwind of excitement and first appearances! Very, very early Wednesday morning, Alex and I made our official first appearances at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce Breakfast sponsored by Mountain States Health Alliance. We met some great people that we are looking forward to working with and watched an interesting presentation on the state of healthcare and the direction that it is headed in.

Thursday afternoon, I attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Veteran's Memorial being built in Johnson City. It was great to see so many wonderful men and women who have served our country and to see the ball get rolling on a great project that is well deserved for them. There were also several local officials there, some of whom I met and worked with on the Bill Haslam campaign, and some who I got to meet for the first time. It was a special day and I was proud to be there on Veteran's Day!

Sunday afternoon, Alex, Sarah, and I took promotional pictures with Tom Pardue and I will be posting some of those soon! Thanks to all who have been keeping up with my blog and Facebook page! I appreciate your support so much!

Much Love and God Bless!
